In fact, our kitchen has been up and running through three families and six generations – that’s over 200 years.

Our History
The idea for Doe Run Catering actually came from customers at Triple Fresh Market. Starting in 1995, Jim and Donna would stand in front of Triple Fresh Market each weekend serving up chicken and ribs to the residents of the Doe Run area, as well as people passing through and taking in the bucolic scenery of South Western Chester County. As more and more folks fell in love with the food, Jim started to receive requests for our delicious creations to be served at parties.
Jim and Donna wanted their catering offering to be more than just barbecue, so they hired their first chef in 2003 and expanded the menu to include traditional and innovative dishes. And as the catering business grew, new chefs were brought on board, and each leaving a mark on the menu options, techniques and flavors. Today, Doe Run Catering is still running strong, and ready to show you what our long history of serving our friends and neighbors award winning catering services can mean for your special event.
Jim Petro III
Jim has spent nearly 30 years in foodservice and catering. He grew up in the family atmosphere of Triple Fresh Market . He obtained a diploma in Catering in 2013, after spending 10 years at Triple Fresh Catering.
Jim brings his experience and expertise to help you plan, execute and enjoy your event.
Mike Petro
Mike grew up in Triple Fresh Market and worked in several restaurants before entering the Army National Guard and serving a tour in Iraq. On his return, he served as Catering Director for Triple Fresh Catering. He followed his passion for cooking to St. Thomas, becoming Sous Chef of Pesce Fine Dining and then General Manager of Sunset Grill.
Mike combines practical experience with a creative panache, bringing his unique skills into play for every event.
Sarah Fell
After working as a restaurant server while attending West Chester University, Sarah worked serving private chef’s dinners. She trained and took over as the Catering Administrator at Triple Fresh Catering. Sarah spent several years working with the Catering Director for the St. Thomas Restaurant Group before returning to PA.
Sarah looks forward to bringing the dreams and visions of clients to life, no matter how large or intimate their event.
Chef C. Scott Vincent
Scott has been in the food service industry since 1980. He started out when he took on a part time job as a dishwasher. That turned into a kitchen prep position, and he found his calling. Over the years Scott learned his craft, honing his talent under a variety of chefs and spent many years as Banquet Chef at Merion Cricket Club.
Scott believes his passion for cooking was sparked by his maternal grandmother. He brings his passion to Doe Run Catering to be shared with you!
